Icons describe general node roles, inferred from node types. Inspect the parameters for the configured action.
Drag to pan; use + and − to zoom. Reconstructed from the exported node positions; nothing runs here. Dashed lines represent non-main connections. Full node names and notes appear below.
How it works
The exported workflow contains the following configured nodes. Their connections are shown above; inspect the JSON for the complete logic, expressions, and external actions.
| Node | Category | Type | Operation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Schedule Trigger | Trigger | Schedule Trigger | See node parameters |
| Set post status to "Done" | Integration | Notion | databasePage / update |
| Post on LinkedIn | Messaging | Linked In | See node parameters |
| Combine text+image | Transform | Merge | See node parameters |
| Fetch image from post | Web / API | HTTP Request | See node parameters |
| Reformat Post Text | AI & models | Open Ai | assistant |
| get all content from post page | Integration | Notion | block / getAll |
| Pull together all text blocks + image | Transform | Aggregate | See node parameters |
| query entries from Notion table for today | Integration | Notion | databasePage / getAll |
Setup
- Download the JSON and import it into an isolated n8n instance. Leave the workflow inactive.
- Connect your own credentials through n8n’s credential store. Replace
REPLACE_WITH_*values with your resource identifiers. - Inspect API destinations, Code nodes, database queries, file paths, and outbound actions.
- Run with synthetic data and harmless destinations. Enable triggers only after checking the actual outputs.
Requirements
An n8n instance with the listed node types and compatible versions. Service-connected workflows may require accounts, credentials, or paid APIs.

Workflow notes
Fetch the day's post from my Notion database
Fetch the day's post from my Notion database
A Notion "database" is just a table on a Notion Page. This table will have various rows, for which a minimum of three columns are required:
- Name
- Status
- Date
The Date column is the most important, which will dictate when that row from your Notion table containing the text should be posted.
NOTE: each post is required to have a copy and pasted image!
Format Post
Format Post
Send the post to OpenAI, where it will attempt to ask your assistant how to take the incoming blob of text, and soup it up into something more palpable for LinkedIn engagement.

Purpose and structure
This folder contains the Automate LinkedIn Posts with AI workflow. Its executable nodes use aggregate, httpRequest, linkedIn, merge, notion, openAi, scheduleTrigger. The table and connection map below are derived from the JSON, not an inferred guarantee of behavior.
Setup
Import inactive. Configure your own credentials and replace REPLACE_WITH_* values. Review external destinations and Code nodes before running.
