Icons describe general node roles, inferred from node types. Inspect the parameters for the configured action.

Drag to pan; use + and − to zoom. Reconstructed from the exported node positions; nothing runs here. Dashed lines represent non-main connections. Full node names and notes appear below.

How it works

The exported workflow contains the following configured nodes. Their connections are shown above; inspect the JSON for the complete logic, expressions, and external actions.

Setup

  1. Download the JSON and import it into an isolated n8n instance. Leave the workflow inactive.
  2. Connect your own credentials through n8n’s credential store. Replace REPLACE_WITH_* values with your resource identifiers.
  3. Inspect API destinations, Code nodes, database queries, file paths, and outbound actions.
  4. Run with synthetic data and harmless destinations. Enable triggers only after checking the actual outputs.

Requirements

An n8n instance with the listed node types and compatible versions. Service-connected workflows may require accounts, credentials, or paid APIs.

Credential types declared in the source

Fetch, filter and sort notion tasks

Fetch, filter and sort notion tasks

Currently tasks are filtered by having a deadline and sorted by this

Generate HTML template per task

Generate HTML template per task

Generate a template for each task. It displays the headline and some prperties. You can adjust the template here to show more or less information about each task.

Create groups of tasks to "overdue" and "due to"

Create groups of tasks to "overdue" and "due to"

This is used to group the tasks and display them accordingly in the final html email template.

Create html email template

Create html email template

Here the whole html email template is set up. Styles are applied and some sugar around list of tasks are shown. You may change this to your design and even replace the logo.

Send email and push notification

Send email and push notification

In the Pushover node you need to place you User Key to receive push notifications. Use the Pushover docs to read more about how to setup this service.

Dependencies

Dependencies

  • You need to have access to your notion page/database
  • You need to create a Pushover account in order to receive push notifications via this service

Adjustment needed

Adjustment needed

In order to not receive "Done" or "Closed" items from your notion database you need to add some filters in this Notion node.

E.g. you could add "Status" is not equal to "Closed", to not get closed items.

Purpose and structure

This folder contains the Fetch, filter and sort notion tasks workflow. Its executable nodes use aggregate, emailSend, filter, html, if, manualTrigger, merge, notion, pushover, scheduleTrigger, set, sort. The table and connection map below are derived from the JSON, not an inferred guarantee of behavior.

Setup

Import inactive. Configure your own credentials and replace REPLACE_WITH_* values. Review external destinations and Code nodes before running.

Verification

Sanitized source candidate; not runtime-tested. This overview is generated from node metadata. Read the folder README for the connection map, credential types, and license.
