Setup
- Download the JSON and import it into an isolated n8n instance. Leave the workflow inactive.
- Connect your own credentials through n8n’s credential store. Replace
REPLACE_WITH_*values with your resource identifiers. - Inspect API destinations, Code nodes, database queries, file paths, and outbound actions.
- Run with synthetic data and harmless destinations. Enable triggers only after checking the actual outputs.
Requirements
An n8n instance with the listed node types and compatible versions. Service-connected workflows may require accounts, credentials, or paid APIs.

Obsidian to Email Overview
Obsidian to Email Overview
This workflow allows you to send your Obsidian notes (including attachments) via email, with YAML metadata for customization.
Key Features:
- Trigger email sending through Obsidian's Post Webhook plugin.
- Parse YAML frontmatter for email metadata like recipients, subject, and more.
- Automatic handling of attachments (images/files) via base64 encoding.
- Append Webhook response automatically to the bottom of your note in Obsidian
YAML Frontmatter Example

cc: "user@example.com"
bcc: "user@example.com"
subject: "Your Obsidian Note"
