Icons describe general node roles, inferred from node types. Inspect the parameters for the configured action.

Drag to pan; use + and − to zoom. Reconstructed from the exported node positions; nothing runs here. Dashed lines represent non-main connections. Full node names and notes appear below.

How it works

The exported workflow contains the following configured nodes. Their connections are shown above; inspect the JSON for the complete logic, expressions, and external actions.

Setup

  1. Download the JSON and import it into an isolated n8n instance. Leave the workflow inactive.
  2. Connect your own credentials through n8n’s credential store. Replace REPLACE_WITH_* values with your resource identifiers.
  3. Inspect API destinations, Code nodes, database queries, file paths, and outbound actions.
  4. Run with synthetic data and harmless destinations. Enable triggers only after checking the actual outputs.

Requirements

An n8n instance with the listed node types and compatible versions. Service-connected workflows may require accounts, credentials, or paid APIs.

Configuration

guild_id: the server ID in Discord. See how to get that from this Wikipedia tutorial.

Sync Discord scheduled events to Google Calendar

This workflow syncs Discord scheduled events to Google Calendar. On a specified schedule, a request to Discord's API is made to get the scheduled events on a particular server. Only the events that have not been created or have recently been updated will be sent to Google Calendar.

Setup

You will need to create a Discord bot. See how to do that here. Once you have created your bot, create Header Auth in List scheduled events from Discord node. Your header auth fields should be:

Name: Authorization Value: Bot (i.e. Bot MTEzMTgw...uQdg)

How it works

  1. Triggers off on the On schedule node.
  2. Gets the scheduled events from Discord.
  3. The IDs of the Discord scheduled events are used to get the events from Google Calendar, since the IDs are the same on creation of the Google Calendar event.
  4. We can now determine which events are new or have been updated.
  5. The new or updated events are created or updated in Google Calendar.

Purpose and structure

This folder contains the Sync Discord scheduled events to Google Calendar workflow. Its executable nodes use googleCalendar, httpRequest, if, scheduleTrigger, set. The table and connection map below are derived from the JSON, not an inferred guarantee of behavior.

Setup

Import inactive. Configure your own credentials and replace REPLACE_WITH_* values. Review external destinations and Code nodes before running.
