Icons describe general node roles, inferred from node types. Inspect the parameters for the configured action.
Drag to pan; use + and − to zoom. Reconstructed from the exported node positions; nothing runs here. Dashed lines represent non-main connections. Full node names and notes appear below.
How it works
The exported workflow contains the following configured nodes. Their connections are shown above; inspect the JSON for the complete logic, expressions, and external actions.
| Node | Category | Type | Operation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Webhook | Trigger | Webhook | See node parameters |
| Dropbox - List watched folder | Files / media | Dropbox | folder / list |
| Switch File vs Folder | Routing | Switch | See node parameters |
| Switch File vs Folder1 | Routing | Switch | See node parameters |
| NocoDB - Get know files to exclude | Data store | Noco Db | getAll |
| Merge - Keep only new items | Transform | Merge | See node parameters |
| Just a quick answer to Dropbox - webhook validation | Web / API | Respond To Webhook | See node parameters |
| Respond to Dropbox in less than 10sec | Web / API | Respond To Webhook | See node parameters |
| Dropbox get files | Files / media | Dropbox | folder / list |
| NocoDB - Add this file in the table | Data store | Noco Db | create |
| set_folder A | Transform | Edit Fields | See node parameters |
| set_folder to watch B | Transform | Edit Fields | See node parameters |
| Execute Workflow - what i want to do for this folder/file A | Subworkflow | Execute Workflow | See node parameters |
| Execute Workflow - Something to do for new files | Subworkflow | Execute Workflow | See node parameters |
Setup
- Download the JSON and import it into an isolated n8n instance. Leave the workflow inactive.
- Connect your own credentials through n8n’s credential store. Replace
REPLACE_WITH_*values with your resource identifiers. - Inspect API destinations, Code nodes, database queries, file paths, and outbound actions.
- Run with synthetic data and harmless destinations. Enable triggers only after checking the actual outputs.
Requirements
An n8n instance with the listed node types and compatible versions. Service-connected workflows may require accounts, credentials, or paid APIs.

Watch Files, 2 ways :
Watch Files, 2 ways :
- We explore each file in a folder (new and old ones)
- We want to filter new files only
Sticky Note4
I duplicate those processes for each folder i want to watch
Sticky Note5
I define in a "variable" the folder to watch to ease the next steps

Way 1 - We call the subworklow for each file in the specified folder
Purpose and structure
This folder contains the Way 1 - We call the subworklow for each file in the specified folder workflow. Its executable nodes use dropbox, executeWorkflow, merge, nocoDb, respondToWebhook, set, switch, webhook. The table and connection map below are derived from the JSON, not an inferred guarantee of behavior.
Setup
Import inactive. Configure your own credentials and replace REPLACE_WITH_* values. Review external destinations and Code nodes before running.
