Workflow B — Synthesize & Store Clusters
Configured with Execute Workflow Trigger, Anthropic Chat Model, Postgres, Respond To Webhook, and additional nodes. Review the connections and setup before adapting this template.
Node categories in this workflow
- Trigger
- Data store
- Code
- AI & models
- Web / API
Icons describe general node roles, inferred from node types. Inspect the parameters for the configured action.
Drag to pan; use + and − to zoom. Reconstructed from the exported node positions; nothing runs here. Dashed lines represent non-main connections. Full node names and notes appear below.
How it works
The exported workflow contains the following configured nodes. Their connections are shown above; inspect the JSON for the complete logic, expressions, and external actions.
| Node | Category | Type | Operation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workflow Trigger | Trigger | Execute Workflow Trigger | See node parameters |
| Fetch Unprocessed Items | Data store | Postgres | executeQuery |
| Group By Topic Tag | Code | Code | See node parameters |
| Claude — Synthesize Cluster | AI & models | Anthropic Chat Model | See node parameters |
| Parse Claude Response | Code | Code | See node parameters |
| Store — Insert Cluster | Data store | Postgres | executeQuery |
| Build Cluster Source Links | Code | Code | See node parameters |
| Store — Insert Source Links | Data store | Postgres | executeQuery |
| Mark Raw Items Processed | Data store | Postgres | executeQuery |
| Fetch Clusters for Webhook | Data store | Postgres | executeQuery |
| Format Webhook Output | Code | Code | See node parameters |
| Webhook — Receive Request | Trigger | Webhook | See node parameters |
| Webhook — Send Response | Web / API | Respond To Webhook | See node parameters |
Setup
- Download the JSON and import it into an isolated n8n instance. Leave the workflow inactive.
- Connect your own credentials through n8n’s credential store. Replace
REPLACE_WITH_*values with your resource identifiers. - Inspect API destinations, Code nodes, database queries, file paths, and outbound actions.
- Run with synthetic data and harmless destinations. Enable triggers only after checking the actual outputs.
Requirements
An n8n instance with the listed node types and compatible versions. Service-connected workflows may require accounts, credentials, or paid APIs.
Credential types declared in the source

Workflow notes
Workflow Trigger
Activated by Workflow A's Trigger node. Also run manually to test.
Fetch Unprocessed Items
ADD YOUR DETAILS: Select your Postgres credential.
Group By Topic Tag
Groups unprocessed items by topic_tag. Each group becomes one Claude call.
Claude — Synthesize Cluster
ADD YOUR DETAILS: Add Anthropic API key in n8n credentials.
Parse Claude Response
Safely parses Claude JSON output. Handles errors so workflow never breaks.
Store — Insert Cluster
ADD YOUR DETAILS: Select your Postgres credential. RETURNING gives back the new cluster ID.
Build Cluster Source Links
Prepares link records between cluster and raw items.
Mark Raw Items Processed
ADD YOUR DETAILS: Select your Postgres credential. Flips processed=TRUE on all raw items consumed by this cluster.
Fetch Clusters for Webhook
ADD YOUR DETAILS: Select your Postgres credential. Pulls all pending clusters from last 5 hours.
Format Webhook Output
Formats clusters into clean JSON array for the dashboard.
Webhook — Receive Request
Your webhook URL will be: https://YOUR_N8N_DOMAIN/webhook/ai-intelligence-digest
Webhook — Send Response
Sends cluster JSON to the frontend dashboard.

Purpose and structure
This folder contains the Workflow B — Synthesize & Store Clusters workflow. Its executable nodes use code, executeWorkflowTrigger, lmChatAnthropic, postgres, respondToWebhook, webhook. The table and connection map below are derived from the JSON, not an inferred guarantee of behavior.
Setup
Import inactive. Configure your own credentials and replace REPLACE_WITH_* values. Review external destinations and Code nodes before running.
